Wednesday Evening Bible Study
We have an incredible time during our Wednesday night service. While our children and youth enjoy their various groups and activities, the adults gather in the sanctuary for our midweek Bible study. So what can you expect when you come to Bible study on Wednesday night?
Wednesday night is very informal. Some people may come dressed up, but we really are a come as you are church. Feel free to dress comfortably, knowing that you will enjoy the company of loving, accepting people. People will greet you warmly and welcome you to the Wednesday night service.
The Bible study starts off with several songs of worship, because we know God has blessed us and we want to honor him. After the music, people are given the opportunity to tell what good things God has done in our lives, as well as share anything for which they would like prayer.
An offering plate will be passed, but guests and visitors are not expected to contribute. Our regular attenders and church members are encouraged to contribute to support the work of the church. At some point, events at the church will be discussed as well. This would be a good time to listen up, because something that you may find interesting could be happening soon!
The Bible study is a little different from a Sunday morning message, because you have the opportunity to discuss with the leader and group what the Bible tells us. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, you don't have to. You can listen and learn. But you are also welcome to join the discussion.
Bible study, which starts at 7 p.m., will end around 8:30 p.m. when the children and youth finish their activities as well. Since there is something for all ages, we encourage you to bring your entire family. We gaurantee they all will have a great time!
