Welcome to Women Of the Word

WOW has two goals: to minister to every woman according to her need, and to help each woman find her personal place of ministry. We strive to provide women with opportunities for outreach on every level of ministry. All of our functions either minister to women or offer opportunities for women to minister to others. Women of faith must bind together in prayer, support, and dedication to spread the Gospel and share the love of Jesus Christ. It is only through our commitment to His cause that we truly can touch the world.

Our First Goal is to Minister to Women

The first goal of WOW is to minister to every woman according to her need through prayer groups, Bible studies, and a variety of Ministry Groups in the local church. Prayer is a strong priority of the Women's Ministry. It is through prayer that we not only connect with the will of God, but also how we support each other and those who represent us on the mission field. Bible study is also foundational to WOW, and allows us to connect with one another through communication and learning as we touch the world.

Our Second Goal is to Involve Women in Ministry

The second goal of WOW is to involve every woman in some aspect of ministry, helping her to be personally involved in fulfilling the Great Commission. We are all called to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. As we build women up in faith and spiritual maturity, we are preparing them to minister to the lost and bring people to Jesus.

More About WOW

WOW is led by Anita Gordon. She has a heart for this ministry and wants to touch women with the love of Christ. We currently hold a Breakfast together with the Men's Ministry on the second Saturday of every month at 9 a.m. We also hold special events throughout the year, such as Secret Sisters, Mother-Daughter Banquet, and decorating events.
