Our Senior Adults are an important part of Hillsdale Assembly of God. The Bible teaches that we should learn from the wisdom of our elders and Seniors are an important part of the church body.

"Gray hair is a crown of splendor; it is attained by a righteous life." (Proverbs 16:31)

"Teach the older men to be temperate, worthy of respect, self-controlled, and sound in faith, in love and in endurance. Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God. Similarly, encourage the young men to be self-controlled." (Titus 2:2-6)

"Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older . All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, 'God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.' Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time." (1 Peter 5:5-6)

Mike & Kitty Roberts lead the Senior Adult Ministry at Hillsdale Assembly of God. They hold regular meeting and events for our seniors, as well as holding them up in prayer and helping them reach their peers with the love of Christ. Our seniors are a loving community, and we encourage all senior adults to join them for their next meeting or event.
